Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 25, 2026

Last Updated: September 25, 2026

Paddyview Foundry ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Profile Borders iOS application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, why, and the choices you have.

In short: your photos stay on your device. The App has no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking. The only information that leaves your device is what is needed to process and restore in-app purchases.

1. Your Photos

The App adds a border to a photo you take or choose. All editing happens on your device. We never upload, receive, view, or store your photos.

• Choosing a photo: the App uses Apple's photo picker, so it only receives the photo you select. It does not have access to the rest of your photo library.
• Camera: used only while you take a new photo in the App.
• Saving to Photos: if you save a picture, iOS asks for permission to add it to your photo library. This permission lets the App add pictures, not read your library.
• Your profile photo and the border you last chose are saved inside the App on your device, so your picture is ready the next time you open it.

You can change these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app. Declining a permission only disables the feature that needs it.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or contacts. You do not need to create an account. The App does not contain advertising, analytics, or tracking tools, and it does not use your device's advertising identifier.

3. In-App Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are paid through Apple. Apple processes your payment; we never receive your payment details, Apple ID, name, or email address.

We use RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to confirm your purchases and unlock premium features. To do this, the App sends RevenueCat:

• A random identifier created on your device. It is not linked to your name or Apple ID, and it is not the device's advertising identifier.
• Your purchase and subscription history for our apps, such as which products you bought, when, free trial status, and renewal or expiration dates, as reported by Apple
• Technical information such as your device model, iOS version, App version, language and region setting, and IP address

If you subscribed in an earlier version of the App, the App checks for that subscription on your device and sends it to RevenueCat once, so it carries over without you having to restore it.

RevenueCat processes this information on our behalf under its own privacy policy.

4. One Purchase Across Our Apps

A Profile Borders subscription also unlocks our other apps in the Paddyview Foundry bundle, and a purchase in one of those apps unlocks Profile Borders. To make this work, our apps share the same random identifier through your device's secure Keychain, so they can recognize the same purchases. If you use iCloud Keychain, the identifier also syncs to your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. The identifier stays on your devices and with RevenueCat; it is not shared with anyone else and is not used to track you.

5. Other Connections

• When you view the list of apps included with a subscription, the App loads app icons from Apple's public App Store service.
• When you share a picture, set it as a contact photo, or open the App Store from the App, that action is handled by Apple or the app you choose, under its own privacy policy.

6. How We Use Information

We use the information described above only to:

• Confirm, restore, and manage your purchases and free trials
• Unlock premium features in Profile Borders and our other bundled apps
• Keep the App working correctly and fix problems
• Respond to you if you contact us

We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or tracking you across other companies' apps or websites.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent any data, and we do not share data with advertisers or data brokers. Information may be processed only by:

• Apple, which processes payments and App Store services
• RevenueCat, which manages purchases on our behalf
• Legal authorities, only when required by law

8. Contacting Us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to respond to you, and keep it only as long as needed to handle your request.

9. Data Retention

Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat for as long as needed to provide your purchases, including restoring them on new devices, and to meet legal and tax obligations. Everything the App stores on your device, including your profile photo and chosen border, is removed when you delete the App. Pictures you saved to Photos or shared with other apps stay there until you delete them.

10. Your Choices and Rights

• You can allow or deny camera and photo access at any time in the iOS Settings app.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the iOS Settings app under your Apple Account > Subscriptions.
• You can contact us to ask about, or request deletion of, purchase information associated with your use of the App.

If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another place with data protection laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. We honor these requests. Because the App does not know who you are, we may ask for details, such as a purchase receipt, that help us find the relevant data.

11. Data Security

Purchase information is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections, and the shared identifier is stored in your device's secure Keychain. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
