Paddyview Foundry ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Printer iOS application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, why, and the choices you have.

In short: everything you print stays on your device and goes only to the printer you choose. The App has no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking, and it does not send your documents, photos, or labels to us or to anyone else. The only information that leaves your device is what is needed to process and restore in-app purchases.

1. Your Documents, Photos and Scans

The App prepares what you want to print on your device. We never upload, receive, view, or store your documents, photos, scans, or labels.

• Files: the App uses Apple's file picker, so it can only open the files you choose. Documents such as Word, Excel, Pages, text and Markdown files are converted into printable pages on your device.
• Photos: the App uses Apple's photo picker, so it only receives the photos you select. It does not have access to the rest of your photo library.
• Camera: used only while you scan a document in the App. Scanning is done by Apple's document camera on your device.
• Markup: when you mark up a page, the App edits a copy of it. Your original file is never changed.
• Temporary copies made while preparing a print are kept in the App's temporary storage and deleted the next time you open the App.

You can change camera and photo permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app. Declining a permission only disables the feature that needs it.

2. Printing

Printing is handled by Apple's AirPrint. When you print, iOS sends the pages directly to the printer you select. We do not receive, see, or store what you print. Your printer may keep its own records of print jobs under its manufacturer's policies.

3. Print History

If Save Print History is turned on, the App keeps a copy of each finished print on your device, together with its title, date and print settings, so you can print it again. The App keeps up to the 100 most recent prints.

• Print history never leaves your device except as part of your own device backups (such as iCloud Backup), like other app data.
• You can delete individual prints or clear all history in the History tab, and turn off Save Print History in the App's Settings at any time.

4. Labels and Settings

The text, prices and codes you enter for labels, and your preferences such as theme and default label size, are saved only on your device so they are ready next time. Barcodes and QR codes are generated on your device.

5. Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or contacts. You do not need to create an account. The App does not contain advertising, analytics, or tracking tools, and it does not use your device's advertising identifier.

6. In-App Purchases

You can open, preview and edit anything for free. Printing requires a Printer Pro subscription, paid through Apple. Apple processes your payment; we never receive your payment details, Apple ID, name, or email address.

We use RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to confirm your purchases and unlock Printer Pro. To do this, the App sends RevenueCat:

• A random identifier created on your device. It is not linked to your name or Apple ID, and it is not the device's advertising identifier.
• Your purchase and subscription history for our apps, such as which products you bought, when, free trial status, and renewal or expiration dates, as reported by Apple
• Technical information such as your device model, iOS version, App version, language and region setting, and IP address

If you subscribed in an earlier version of the App, the App checks for that subscription on your device and sends it to RevenueCat once, so it carries over without you having to restore it.

RevenueCat processes this information on our behalf under its own privacy policy.

7. One Purchase Across Our Apps

A Printer Pro subscription also unlocks our other apps in the Paddyview Foundry bundle, and a purchase in one of those apps unlocks Printer. To make this work, our apps share the same random identifier through your device's secure Keychain, so they can recognize the same purchases. If you use iCloud Keychain, the identifier also syncs to your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. The identifier stays on your devices and with RevenueCat; it is not shared with anyone else and is not used to track you.

8. Contacting Us

If you tap Contact Me in the App, it opens an email in your Mail app with the App version, device model and iOS version added at the bottom to help with support. You can review or remove this before sending. Nothing is sent unless you send the email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to respond to you, and keep it only as long as needed to handle your request.

9. Other Connections

• When you view the list of apps included with a subscription, the App loads app icons from Apple's public App Store service.
• When you open this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use from the App, your device loads the page from our website, like any web browser. Our web server may keep standard access logs, such as IP address, browser type and time of the request, to keep the website running and secure.
• When you share a PDF from Print History or open the App Store from the App, that action is handled by Apple or the app you choose, under its own privacy policy.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent any data, and we do not share data with advertisers or data brokers. Your documents, photos and labels never leave your device except to your printer. Purchase information may be processed only by:

• Apple, which processes payments and App Store services
• RevenueCat, which manages purchases on our behalf
• Legal authorities, only when required by law

11. Data Retention

Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat for as long as needed to provide your purchases, including restoring them on new devices, and to meet legal and tax obligations. Everything the App stores on your device, including print history, saved labels and settings, is removed when you delete the App. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

12. Your Choices and Rights

• You can allow or deny camera and photo access at any time in the iOS Settings app.
• You can delete print history, or turn it off, in the App.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the iOS Settings app under your Apple Account > Subscriptions.
• You can contact us to ask about, or request deletion of, purchase information associated with your use of the App, or any emails you have sent us.

If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another place with data protection laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. We honor these requests. Because the App does not know who you are, we may ask for details, such as a purchase receipt, that help us find the relevant data.

13. Data Security

Your content stays on your device, protected by iOS. Purchase information is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections, and the shared identifier is stored in your device's secure Keychain. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

14. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
